Girder Installation to Close I-25 at 84th Avenue Tonight and Tomorrow Night

April 2, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - DENVER – Tonight, April 2nd and tomorrow night April 3rd, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close all lanes of northbound and/or southbound I-25 near 84th Avenue to install girders for the southern portion of the new 84th Avenue bridge over I-25.

CDOT's Employees' Research Paper is Award-Winner

April 2, 2012 - Statewide Transportation Plan - DENVER, COLORADO — Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) employees Jake Kononov and Bryan Allery, together with Canadian researcher Craig Lyon, were recently honored by the Transportation Research Board (TRB) of the National Academies for their work in co-authoring a paper that identifies a potential connection between congestion and the physics of accident occurrence on urban freeways.

Trip Travel Times Now Posted to DIA

April 5, 2012 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK/JEFFERSON COUNTIES – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is now displaying trip travel times to Denver International Airport along eastbound Interstate 70, from Hidden Valley to Wheat Ridge, in an effort to provide improved traveler information to motorists.

April 12, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - JEFFERSON/CLEAR CREEK COUNTIES – Drivers on westbound Interstate 70 should be prepared for some traffic slowing tomorrow while a 420,000 pound electrical transformer is moved from Genesee to Idaho Springs.
