LOGAN COUNTY — Tomorrow, Tuesday April 10, and Wednesday, April 11, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be performing emergency culvert replacements on State Highway (SH) 113 at County Road (CR) 50, which is roughly ten miles south of Peetz and approximately six miles north of I-76.

In order to perform the culvert replacements, crews will need to close SH 113 at County Road 50. Motorists should expect delays in both northbound and southbound directions of the highway, and should use the following detour routes:

  • Northbound traffic: Take CR 46 west six miles to CR 37, take CR 37 north for 14 miles to CR 74, take CR 74 east six miles back to SH 113.
  • Southbound traffic: Take CR 74 west for six miles to CR 37, take CR 37 south for 14 miles to CR 46, and take CR 46 east six miles to SH 113.

All county roads are paved and all traffic will need to use the detours. CDOT would like to remind motorists to obey all road signs and flaggers, and to drive Slow for the Cone Zone.
