Upcoming lane closures near Idaho Springs

March 28, 2012 - Central/Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - Single lane closures will be in place on Interstate 70 at Hidden Valley and Floyd Hill next week for bridge expansion joint repairs and asphalt patching.

Beginning on Tuesday, April 3, and continuing through Thursday, April 5, from 7 a.m. until dark, single lane closures will be in place on eastbound or westbound I-70 at the Hidden Valley Bridge, just east of the Twin Tunnels.  PLEASE NOTE:  All westbound lane closures begin after 10 a.m.

Once the Hidden Valley work is complete, crews move east to the Clear Creek Bridge at the bottom of Floyd Hill.  Drivers can expect single lane closures on eastbound I-70 from 7 a.m. until dark.

Drivers should anticipate some delays.  However, CDOT will be monitoring traffic and adjusting and/or removing the lane closure if long backups develop.

All work is weather permitting.
