Road Work on US 40 in Mt. Vernon Canyon

March 13, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - JEFFERSON COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be conducting rock scaling operations along U.S. 40 in Mount Vernon Canyon today.

On Tuesday, March 13, flaggers will alternate eastbound and westbound traffic on Highway 40 near the Mother Cabrini turnoff, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Traffic stops up to 10 minutes should be expected as crews remove loose rocks from the slope above the highway.
