No Lane Closures Tonight on I-25 at State Highway 392

March 7, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - Work on bridge deck completed last night.

LARIMER/WELD COUNTIES — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will not close any lanes of I-25 tonight, Wednesday, March 7 at State Highway (SH) 392. Crews closed one lane of southbound I-25 last night to finish bridge form work for the deck pour scheduled for next week (weather permitting). There are no more scheduled lane closures this week for this project.

This work is part of a $17.5 million project that replaces the SH 392 bridge over I-25 with one that is wider to accommodate two lanes in each direction as well as a left-turn lane in each direction. There will also be a six-foot bike lane and a 6.5-foot sidewalk on each side of the bridge. The frontage road on the west side of the interchange will be realigned, and the ramps will be designed to accommodate more traffic. In addition, an expanded 90-space carpool/vanpool lot will be constructed in the southwest corner of the interchange.

Edward Kraemer and Sons, Inc. is the contractor for this project. The project is being funded by CDOT, the Federal Highway Administration, the City of Fort Collins, and the Town of Windsor.
