Media Invitation: Project Status Briefing, Grand Avenue Bridge Project

March 29, 2012 - OPEN HOUSE - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - Please join the Colorado Department of Transportation and consultant Jacobs Engineering for a media briefing of the Grand Avenue Bridge Environmental Assessment (EA) Project.

The EA is expected to take two years to complete and will define the purpose and need for the project; describe the range of reasonable improvement alternatives; evaluate the social, economic, historical and environmental impacts of the improvements; define measures to avoid, minimize or mitigate negative impacts of the project; and solicit public involvement and obtain public input for the decision-making process.

WHAT: Review of the information to be presented at a Public Open House for the project being held on Wednesday, April 4th from 4:30 to 7:00 pm at the Glenwood Springs Community Center (100 Wulfsohn Road).
