Concrete Work on State Highway 16 Near Fort Carson

March 16, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - FOUNTAIN – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be grooving and sealing joints on concrete surface panels on Mesa Ridge Parkway (State Highway 16) tomorrow.

Beginning at 8 a.m. and continuing until 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, one lane of eastbound and westbound SH 16 will be closed, with flaggers controlling traffic through the work zone.  Minor delays are possible.

CDOT replaced several of the concrete panels a couple of weeks ago, providing the traveling public with a smoother road surface.  The grooving and sealing work is expected to complete the project.

Drivers are reminded to please Slow for the Cone Zone, stay alert and pay attention to and obey all work zone/advisory signs and flaggers.
