Rock Scaling Today on US 40 in Mount Harris Canyon

December 7, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - Maintenance work will begin at 10 a.m.

GRAND, JACKSON, ROUTT COUNTIES — Starting at 10 a.m. this morning, maintenance crews from the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be performing routine rock scaling maintenance on US 40 in Mount Harris Canyon between Hayden and Steamboat Springs at mile marker 115. Scaling will last a few hours and should be finished by mid-afternoon today. Motorists will experience some slowing in the area. CDOT reminds motorists to obey all road signs and flaggers, and to drive Slow for the Cone Zone.
