Guardrail Work to Reduce I-25 to One Lane in Each Direction Next Week Near Johnstown

December 2, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - Work will begin Sunday evening.

LARIMER/WELD COUNTIES — Starting at 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 4 and continuing until 6 a.m. on Thursday, December 8, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will conduct guardrail work on I-25 near Johnstown. The work will reduce traffic on northbound and southbound I-25 to one lane in each direction during the overnight hours from mile marker (MM) 249 to MM 258. Loads are restricted to 16 feet between MM 256 and MM 258.

The following closures of I-25 will be in place, weather permitting:

  • One lane of northbound I-25 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • One lane of southbound I-25 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

CDOT would like to remind motorists to obey all road signs and flaggers, and to drive Slow for the Cone Zone.
