November 3, 2011 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is reminding drivers who travel Interstate 70 about the yearly sun glare problem in the Floyd Hill area.

Embankment Slip Repairs Underway SH 145 South of Telluride

November 4, 2011 - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - SAN MIGUEL COUNTY – American Civil Constructors, Inc. (ACC), contractor for the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), has begun embankment repair work on SH 145 south of Telluride on Lizard Head Pass, near Trout Lake. Work is scheduled for completion in late November.

SH 82 Signal Interconnect Project Update: Work to be Suspended for Winter

November 4, 2011 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - ASPEN - As part of the SH 82 Aspen signal interconnect project, Colorado Department of Transportation contractor, WL Contracting, will continue with the installation of detection loops in the lanes at the Harmony Place, Owl Creek Road and Truscott Lane intersections, completing this work by November 18th. Work will also be done off of the highway to install cable between the intersections.

November 4, 2011 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - CHEYENNE COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Department (CDOT) will close one lane of U.S. 287 next week as part of the concrete panel replacement project, about three miles south of Kit Carson.

I-70 TeleCommunications Infrastructure Public Meeting Announcement

November 7, 2011 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - Telecommunications Infrastructure along I-70 in Glenwood Canyon - GARFIELD COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the US Forest Service are considering a proposal by Canyon Summits LLC for the deployment of a contiguous telecommunications infrastructure system along I-70 in Glenwood Canyon.

November 7, 2011 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - CHEYENNE COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Department (CDOT) is postponing the week-long lane closure on U.S. 287 in the Kit Carson area until next week since snow is expected to impact travel through the area for the next couple of days.

Signals to be Switched Off at Holly Brige

November 8, 2011 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - FASTER Bridge Project Almost Complete - PROWERS COUNTY – The traffic signals alternating northbound and southbound traffic through the bridge reconstruction site on State Highway 89 near Holly are scheduled to be removed by the middle of next week, weather permitting.
