Springfield Railroad Project Delayed Again
On Tuesday, October 25, at approximately 6 a.m., Main Street (U.S. 287) will be closed to through traffic for approximately ½ mile as the BNSF Railway replaces the tracks crossing the highway between 13th and 15th avenues at the south end of Springfield. All traffic will be detoured around the closure via Colorado Street, one block west of Main.
The highway is expected to reopen to through traffic by 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26.
Motorists are reminded to please Slow for the Cone Zone, stay alert and pay attention to and obey all work zone/advisory signs and flaggers.
