Paving Operations to Close I-25 Near Johnstown Next Week
October 7, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - LARIMER/WELD COUNTIES — Next week, October 9th through October 11th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will rotomill and pave sections of I-25 near State Highway 60, which will result in full closures of northbound and southbound I-25 during the overnight hours.
To complete the paving operations, the following closures of I-25 will be in place, weather permitting:
- Sunday, October 9th and Tuesday, October 11th: Northbound I-25 will be completely closed near SH 60 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Detour: Motorists will detoured via the off and on-ramps at SH 60. Uniformed traffic control will be help direct motorists through the work zone.
- Monday, October 10th and Tuesday, October 11th: Southbound I-25 will be completely closed near SH 60 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Detour: Motorists will detoured via the off and on-ramps at SH 60. Uniformed traffic control will be help direct motorists through the work zone.
Major delays are expected and alternate routes such as US 287 or US 85 are strongly advised. CDOT would like to remind motorists to obey all road signs and flaggers, and to Slow for the Cone Zone.
