Night Lane Closures on I-25 Next Week
October 14, 2011 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be closing various lanes of northbound and southbound Interstate 25 next week for sign and pavement work.
- Sunday, October 16, through Wednesday, October 19, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Various lane closures at various locations on northbound or southbound I-25 between Circle Drive and South Academy Boulevard. CDOT is drilling the asphalt to analyze the road surface in preparation for a future paving project.
- Monday, October 17 Single lane closure on northbound I-25 at Woodmen Road, from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m., for concrete placement and removal of a sign foundation. Single lane closure on northbound I-25, north of the Nevada/Tejon Street Interchange, from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m., for placement of a sign foundation.
- Tuesday, October 18. Single lane closure from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Wednesday, north of the Nevada/Tejon Street Interchange, for sign installation.
A reduced speed limit will be in effect so motorists are reminded to please Slow for the Cone Zone, stay alert and pay attention to and obey all work zone and advisory signs.
