Bridge Deck Work on US 6 Canceled for Tomorrow

October 21, 2011 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - Thanks to warm weather and diligent crews, Saturday work not necessary this week.

EAGLE COUNTY — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will not need to perform deck work tomorrow on the US 6 bridge project. Since the weather this past week was warm and dry, the hard-working crew was able to finish the originally scheduled work as well as additional work planned for tomorrow. CDOT will continue to take advantage of the warm fall weather to keep the project on schedule and help better prepare the bridge for paving before winter arrives.

Although there will be no bridge work tomorrow, crews will perform additional work the following days next month (weather permitting):

Saturday, November 19
Saturday, November 26
