GUARDRAIL WORK TO REDUCE I-25 TO ONE LANE IN EACH DIRECTION NEXT WEEK NEAR JOHNSTOWN
October 28, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - LARIMER/WELD COUNTIES — Starting at 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 30 and continuing until 6 a.m. on Friday, November 4, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will conduct guardrail work on I-25 near Johnstown.
The work will reduce traffic on northbound and southbound I-25 to one lane in each direction during the overnight hours from mile marker (MM) 249 to MM 258.
To complete the work, the following closures of I-25 will be in place, weather permitting:
- One lane of northbound I-25 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. south of Johnstown.
- One lane of southbound I-25 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Johnstown.
Minor delays are expected and wide loads are restricted to 16 feet. CDOT would like to remind motorists to obey all road signs and flaggers, and to drive Slow for the Cone Zone.
