I-25 Closure at Woodmen Road Sunday Night

September 16, 2011 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - All northbound lanes will be closed.

EL PASO COUNTY — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close all northbound lanes of I-25 at the Woodmen Road Interchange (Exit 149) this Sunday, September 18 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, September 19 in order for crews to paint the sign structure that crosses the highway.

All traffic will detour via the off- and on-ramp, with the traffic signals adjusted to provide additional “green” time for the northbound traffic traveling through the intersection at the bottom of the ramp. Some slowing should be expected through the area.

CDOT would like to remind motorists to obey all road signs and flaggers, and to drive Slow for the Cone Zone. Updated information regarding traffic impacts on this and other CDOT projects is available by calling 511 from anywhere in the state.
