Guardrail Work at MLK Interchange Today

July 13, 2011 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be repairing guardrail on the ramp from westbound Martin Luther King Jr. Bypass (U.S. 24) to northbound Interstate 25 on Wednesday, July 13.

A left lane closures will be in place on the ramp from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Some slowing is possible as traffic is reduced to a single lane through the area.

CDOT Maintenance repairs or replaces guardrail to maintain highway safety, preventing vehicles from leaving the roadway and possibly striking an off-road hazard.

Motorists are reminded to please Slow for the Cone Zone, stay alert and pay attention to and obey all work zone/advisory signs and flaggers.
