UPRR Work on SH 92 this Saturday & Sunday

May 6, 2011 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - No Highway Closure for this weekend’s Stock Dog Trials

DELTA COUNTY - The Union Pacific Railroad will conduct work on tracks over SH 92 at Hotchkiss this weekend. Per the permit with the Colorado Department of Transportation, the railroad is required to keep two lanes of traffic open during work.

UPRR will construct a temporary “shoo-fly” detour around the work zone, directly next to SH 92. Traffic slowing and occasional brief stops to allow trucks to cross may be experienced during the construction of this short detour. Two-way traffic will be maintained on the detour—there will be no closure of SH 92.
