Rotomilling Operations to Close Southbound I-25 Ramp to C-470/E-470 Tonight
May 19, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - DENVER – Tonight, May 19th, Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) maintenance crews will rotomill the ramp from southbound I-25 to westbound C-470/eastbound E-470.
To complete the work, the ramp from southbound I-25 to C-470 and E-470 will be completely closed from 9 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday.
During the closure, motorists can take southbound I-25 to Lincoln Avenue where access to northbound I-25 is available. Once on northbound I-25, motorists can access either C-470 or E-470. CDOT would like to remind motorists to pay close attention to construction signs and flaggers and to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
All work is weather permitting and information will be released if the work schedule changes. Following rotomilling operations, CDOT maintenance crews will return to the area, in the next week or two, to pave the ramp in asphalt.
