Glenwood Canyon Concrete Resurfacing Project Update

May 25, 2011 - NOTICE TO COMMERCIAL WATER GUIDES - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - Shoshone Power Plant (Exit 123): There will be access to the Shoshone exit for commercial water guides beginning Friday afternoon May 27, 2011.

The exit will remain open through Monday May 30, 2011 (Memorial Day) for commercial water guides only.  The exit will remain closed to the general public until further notice. Please be advised that the concrete paving is not complete and vehicles will have to cross road base to access Shoshone.  Access will be closed at 7:00 pm.

Beginning Tuesday May 31, 2011 access to and from Shoshone will be allowed for commercial water guides only via the westbound ramp from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.  Please be advised that the concrete paving is not complete and vehicles will have to cross road base to access Shoshone.  Vehicles will need to cross traffic in the construction zone where there will be flaggers positioned to stop traffic and allow vehicles to cross the I-70 construction zone. As you approach Exit 123 (Shoshone) PLEASE TURN ON YOUR EMERGENCY FLASHERS to alert flaggers that you will be turning into Shoshone.
