Speed Limit Back to 65 MPH for Westbound I-70, West Vail Pass

April 15, 2011 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - Signs still show “rough road” as approaches are smoothed.

EAGLE COUNTY – With some drier weather on their side, Colorado Department of Transportation maintenance crews have been able to repair the potholes in the westbound right lane in two sections between MPs 183.5 and 185.5 on the west side of Vail Pass.

Warning signs remain posted, temporarily, simply to alert motorists of a bit of rough road at the new approaches to the patched sections.
