I-70 Traffic Stops at Georgetown Hill Postponed
April 27, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is canceling its planned traffic stops on Interstate 70 at Georgetown Hill for tomorrow – Thursday, April 28.
Helicopter operations are required as part of the rockfall fencing installation that is taking place on the slope above the highway. The contractor is anticipating high winds in the area tomorrow, making it unsafe to fly.
Traffic stops are expected to take place next week. CDOT will distribute an updated advisory tomorrow.
