I-25/Monument Hill Traffic Advisory
April 12, 2011 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - EL PASO COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation will be replacing guardrail on Monument Hill this week, after a semi-truck accident destroyed about 600 feet of the safety barrier Monday morning (April 11).
Crews begin replacing the rail at 8 p.m. Thursday (April 14), requiring a right lane closure of southbound I-25, beginning at County Line Road and continuing south about a thousand feet. The work is scheduled to be completed by 5 a.m. Friday.
Motorists are reminded to please Slow for the Cone Zone, stay alert and pay attention to and obey all work zone/advisory signs and flaggers.
