Powers Boulevard Near Platte Avenue Road Work

March 15, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado Department of Transportation will be removing a slight road bump across Powers Boulevard (State Highway 21) near Platte Avenue (U.S. 24) this week.

Beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, the two left lanes of southbound Powers Boulevard will be closed, just south of Platte. When the left lane work is complete, the closure will be moved to the right lane and shoulder. The work is expected to be done by 3:30 p.m.

Drivers should expect some slowing through the area due to reduced traffic lanes. Motorists also are reminded to please Slow for the Cone Zone, stay alert and pay attention to and obey all work zone/advisory signs and flaggers.
