Lane Closures on Powers Boulevard Thursday and Friday This Week
March 15, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - COLORADO SPRINGS – Maintenance work by the Colorado Department of Transportation will require lane closures on Powers Boulevard (State Highway 21) for a couple of days this week.
On Thursday, March 17, the right turn lane from southbound Powers to westbound Stetson Hills Parkway will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for culvert cleaning operations. Minor delays should be expected.
On Friday, March 18, the left lane of southbound Powers will be closed near Omaha Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for guardrail repairs. The speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph and the Colorado State Patrol will be on-site for enforcement and to maintain safety.
Motorists also are reminded to please Slow for the Cone Zone, stay alert and pay attention to and obey all work zone/advisory signs and flaggers.
