January 3, 2011 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK/SUMMIT COUNTY – Fewer vehicles went through the Eisenhower/Johnson Memorial Tunnels (EJMT) on I-70 in 2010 than in 2009, the second time traffic has declined in the last three years.

January 4, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - WALSENBURG – Track replacement by the Union Pacific Railroad will require a short segment of Main Street (Interstate 25 Business Route) to be closed in Walsenburg tomorrow.

January 6, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - AURORA – Today, January 6th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) realigned northbound and southbound Parker Road at Orchard Road to complete the bridge repairs over Piney Creek.

January 7, 2011 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - DENVER—This weekend, January 8th and 9th, weather permitting, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will demolish the eastbound US 285 bridge over Pierce Street and install bridge girders for a portion of the new US 285 bridge over Wadsworth Boulevard.

January 14, 2011 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - ARAPAHOE COUNTY – Starting at 5 a.m. on Monday, January 17th and continuing until 11 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close the ramp from westbound Arapahoe Road to northbound Parker Road as well as the right lane of westbound Arapahoe Road just east of Parker Road. The closure is necessary for crews to complete storm sewer work at the intersection.

January 14, 2011 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - CROWLEY/KIOWA COUNTIES – Detour construction is complete and traffic signals are being activated at two bridge construction sites between Ordway and Eads on State Highway 96.

January 18, 2011 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) begins rock mitigation operations along Interstate 70 in the Georgetown and Idaho Springs area this week.

January 19, 2011 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - ARAPAHOE COUNTY – The ramp closure from westbound Arapahoe Road to northbound Parker Road will be extended one day as work continues on a storm sewer line at the intersection.

January 20, 2011 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - ARAPAHOE COUNTY – Due to the cold temperatures today, crews have been unable to pave and complete the storm sewer work at Arapahoe Road and Parker Road.

January 21, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - AURORA – On Tuesday, January 25th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will realign northbound and southbound Parker Road at Orchard Road to complete the final phase of bridge repairs over Piney Creek. The realignment moves traffic to the west so crews can complete work on the east side of the bridge.

January 21, 2011 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - DENVER — On, Sunday, January 23rd, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will install girders for the final portion of the new Federal Boulevard bridge over US 285 (Hampden Avenue).

January 21, 2011 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - DENVER —Next week, Sunday, January 23rd through Thursday, January, 27th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will demolish the southern portion of the Alameda Avenue bridge over I-25 as part of an ongoing American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) project.
