Maintenance Operations begin on U.S. 160 next week

November 23, 2010 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - HUERFANO COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be crack sealing U.S. 160 over the next few weeks, west of Walsenburg, weather permitting.

Beginning on Monday, November 29, and continuing on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., flaggers will alternate eastbound and westbound traffic at various locations along one-mile segments, between the top the La Veta Pass and the U.S. 160/State Highway 12 junction.  Traffic stops up to 5 minutes should be expected.

Motorists are reminded to please Slow for the Cone Zone, stay alert and pay attention to and obey all work zone/advisory signs and flaggers.
