Culvert Failure Closes Eastbound US 138 in Julesburg

November 1, 2010 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - JULESBURG – Around 5 p.m. on Friday, October 29th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) closed all lanes of eastbound US 138 at milepost 57.3 in Julesburg due to a culvert failure.

CDOT crews will be inspecting the culvert over the next couple of days to determine the necessary repairs.

At this time, it is unknown when eastbound US 138 will reopen to traffic. In the meantime, motorists will take County Road 41 south to County Road 32. Once on County Road 32 travel west to County Road 39 and travel north to US 385.
