Project First on Construction Projects
Project First formalizes the partnering process to proactively identify and manage risks – to CDOT, Contractors, the traveling public, business owners and many others – through collaboration; the ultimate goal is to create project wins while maintaining relationships.
In accordance with the new "Project First" initiative, please use this Excel file to develop your project specific Project Risk Assessment Tool.
This Project First Escalation Ladder spreadsheet shall be used for matters related to working in bad faith, incompetence, etc. It is not to be used for issues and disputes per Construction Specifications 105.22 and 105.23.
December 10, 2018. Phase 2 incorporates the new Project First specification, a requirement of Project First on most projects, and utilization of developed tools on the updated "Project First on Construction" website.
