The Materials & Geotechnical Branch is responsible for ensuring quality in the products and practices used to plan, design, construct and maintain Colorado's transportation system.

Our branch is responsible for the specifications, test procedures, and associated testing of materials to ensure compliance with CDOT standards and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) regulations. This includes manuals, bulletins, policies, procedures, product approval and testing as listed in this site's menu.
