2024-2. October 8, 2024. Release of 2025 Field Materials Manual. The purpose of this Bulletin is to notify all personnel working on CDOT projects that the 2025 Field Materials Manual has been published and is to be used on all projects advertised after October 1, 2024.

2024-1. August 2, 2023. During a review of the 2024 CDOT Field Materials Manual it was discovered that the minimum Sampling Frequency for the IA Schedule Item 412, Portland Cement Concrete Pavement (PCCP) (Compressive and Flexural Strength Alternative) was incorrect and reflected the wrong minimum sampling frequency interval. The appropriate editorial changes have been made to rectify the issue.
April 11, 2023. The purpose of this Bulletin is to notify all project personnel working on projects using the current 2023 CDOT Field Materials Manual published on July 1, 2022 of the following updates related to the new Buy America changes and updates, and to address the confusion with the issues of the previously issued Materials Bulletin dated November 10, 2022.
November 10, 2022. The purpose of this Bulletin is to notify all project personnel working on projects using the current 2023 CDOT Field Materials Manual of the following updates: 1). The CDOT Form 1600 Contractors Certificate of Compliance for Materials & Manufactured Products will be added to the CDOT Forms webpage and the CDOT Materials & Geotechnical, Buy America Requirements for Iron and Steel webpage. The CDOT Form 1600 is also an attachment to the 2023 FMM. 2). The 2023 FMM OA Schedule, Item 627, was updated. 3). The 2023 FMM Contractor, Special Notice chapter, Sections 4, 4.2, 5, 5.2, 5.3 (Glass Beads) have been added or revised.
September 19, 2022. The purpose of this Bulletin is to notify all project personnel working on projects using the current 2023 CDOT Field Materials Manual of an update.
2022-1. May 5, 2022. Updated the "OA FREQUENCY GUIDE SCHEDULE for Minimum Materials Testing, Sampling and Inspection".
2021-1. November 23, 2020. This materials bulletin replaces CP-52 of the 2021 Field Materials Manual.
2020-1. January 15, 2020. Added CP's-14, 15, and 16 to the 2020 Field Materials Manual.
2018-1. August 10, 2018. This materials bulletin replaces CP-52 of the 2019 Field Materials Manual.
2015-2. December 28, 2015. The intent of this Materials Bulletin is to replace in total the old CP 78-16 from the 2016 Field Materials Manual (FMM) or any previous FMMs that is still being utilized on an active project with the latest CP 78-16.
2015-1. April 7, 2015. The intent of this Materials Bulletin is to replace in total CP 13 with CP 13-15a from the 2015 FMM and any previous FMM that is still being utilized on an active project.
2014-3. December 29, 2014. This Material Bulletin replaces Tables 2.4 and 2.5 of Chapter 2 in the 2015 M-E Pavement Design Manual with revisions to the permanent deformation values.
2014-2. March 4, 2014. This Materials Bulletin replaces in total CP 17 from the 2014 FMM due to the creation of an associated Process Documentation Worksheet.
2014-1. March 4, 2014. This Materials Bulletin revises the contact person for the CDOT Quality Control / Quality Assurance (QC/QA) computer program.
2013-1. July 1, 2013. The intent of this Materials Bulletin is to correct an error within the published Special Notice to Contractors - 14 for the recently released 2014 Field Materials Manual.
