To be used on projects with a federal funding obligation date for the construction phase on or after October 23, 2023, and that contains the Revision of Sections 101 and 106 - Buy American and Build America, Buy America Requirements for Projects Containing $500,000 or More in Federal-Aid Highway Funding (January 8, 2024); or the Revision of Sections 101 and 106 Buy America and Build America, Buy America Requirements for Projects Containing Federal-Aid Highway Funding in the Amount Less Than $500,000 (January 8, 2024).

The purpose of the addendum is to offer uniform and detailed guidelines for pavement design on CDOT highway projects. This addendum shall be used as a supplement to the 2021 CDOT M-E Pavement Design Manual. Please contact the Pavement Design and Documentation Program Manager with any questions.
The purpose of this Pavement Design Manual is to provide CDOT and consulting designers with uniform and detailed procedures for designing pavements on CDOT highway projects. This 2021 manual is to be used after July 1, 2020 until June 30, 2023. This site also includes the "M-E Design Files and Templates".
