The hydraulics program provides technical expertise and experience for the most cost effective hydraulics and hydrology designs for Colorado's highway system.

The program provides innovative research, uniform specifications and design procedures across CDOT's regional boundaries.

The programs ultimate goal is to ensure the quality, safety, and durability of Colorado's transportation system in cooperation and conjunction with other relevant units, groups and entities within and/or outside of CDOT.
